Senior Motion & Visual Designer
Our company is looking for a Senior Social-First Designer who lives and breathes visual culture. You’ll craft bold, eye-catching design and motion work built for social platforms, shaping visual systems and campaigns that feel native to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond.
Responsibilities
Create world-class visual assets for social — including motion graphics, static visuals, mixed media, digital art, typography, and platform-native graphics.
Develop platform-native visual systems that are tailored to how audiences actually consume content on each platform.
Translate campaign concepts into cohesive visual identities for social-led campaigns and brand initiatives.
Elevate the craft level across the team by championing best-in-class design standards and sharing techniques, tools, and references.
Collaborate with creatives, strategists, editors, and producers to bring ideas to life across formats and channels.
Design short-form content, motion graphics, thumbnails, and other assets that feel contemporary, scroll-stopping, and culturally relevant.
Stay plugged into visual and cultural trends, creators, memes, aesthetics, and emerging formats to inform fresh, relevant design decisions.
Contribute to creative reviews, present work clearly, and incorporate feedback constructively.
Support and mentor more junior designers where appropriate, helping them grow their skills and confidence.
Requirements
Substantial design experience creating work for social-first brands, platforms, or campaigns.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects (or similar motion tools).
A portfolio showcasing visually striking, culturally aware work that is clearly optimized for social platforms.
Ability to work quickly and thoughtfully in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Deep understanding of visual trends, memes, and creator aesthetics across major social platforms.
Experience designing short-form content, motion graphics, thumbnails, and platform-native visuals.
Strong eye for typography, layout, color, composition, and digital craft.
Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive, ego-free way.
Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience mentoring or leading junior designers.
Familiarity with gaming culture, streaming, or the creator economy.
Comfort working closely with editors, motion designers, and creative strategists on integrated campaigns.
Experience working with global brands or large-scale social campaigns.
